Michaela Vernava is a sports reporter primarily covering the Boston Bruins, Boston Celtics, and New England Patriots for New England Sports Network. She has experience sideline reporting live on ESPN’s SEC Network and has covered the Kentucky Wildcats men’s basketball team. You can catch her on the air waves contributing to NESN’s news programs (“NESN Live,” “NESN Sports Today” and “NESN Sports Update”) or on the web hosting “Between the Tackles,” a video podcast featured on NESN.com.

Michaela came to NESN in 2015 after working for the Carolina Panthers where she reported on the team for Panthers Television Network programming on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel, Panthers.com and the NFL Now mobile app. Before being picked up by the Panthers, Michaela worked a brief stint at WMCT-TV, covering local high school sports.

Michaela got her start in the industry as a broadcast intern at Comcast SportsNet New England following her graduation from Boston University’s College of Communication. At CSNNE, she shadowed and learned from some of Boston’s top sports reporters and anchors.
